Cara mudah buat applique dari felt

Apa itu applique ?

Appliqué is a crafting technique in which pieces of material are mounted to another base material. It is often used in quilting to create bright and distinctive designs, and it may also be used to dress up clothing, or make unusual placemats and potholders. This is a very old art form, and examples that are hundreds of years old can be seen in museums all over the world. It is also a craft that is very easy to learn, although it can take a long time to become a master of the art.

The word comes from the French appliquer, which means “to apply.” To create appliqué, artists start with a base, which may consist of a solid piece of fabric or many pieces sewn together, as in the case of a quilt. Shapes are cut from other textiles and sewn or glued onto the base; it is also possible to make it with ribbons, cords, sequins, beads, and other materials. Depending on whether the design is ornamental or functional, the applied material may be firmly attached or more loosely glued or sewn.

Maaf, kita copy paste jer, >_<

  • ok.. mula-mula kita perlukan kertas gam.
Maaf.. gambar blur..
  • DSC02160Haa.. bila kertas tu dah lekat, kan senang kita gunting.. Bentuk susah macam mana pun jadi mudah.. Lepas gunting , kita tanggalkan kertas tu. Jadi jangan gosok terlalu lama, nanti susah nak tanggalkan kertas. Kalau malas tanggalkan kertas pun boleh juga, cuma bila diterbalikkan nanti nampak lak kertas kat tepi applique tu.. jadi berserabut mata tengok. ^_^

      W’salam.
Kak tie biasa gam dulu, guna gam uhu sahaja, pastu baru jahit keliling applique, supaya tak tertanggal lepas /pakai/basuh berulang kali.

        • April 7, 2014 at 10:29 pm

Oh… itu kena print gambar terus ke transfer paper.. transfer paper tu boleh dibeli di kedai komputer , yg jual printer.. kak tie tak pernah buat. kalau nak mudah boleh tempah gambar tu, pastu jahit bantal sendiri. Tapi, kan… kak tie pernah tgk, gambar tu tak tahan lama, kalau kita selalu peluk2 bantal tu, ia akan merekah… melainkan kalau utk buat hiasan sahaja.
